The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of characters who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might seem out of place, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to go next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could enable the team enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
